So, where to begin, where to begin...oh, once again, new penciller as Joe Staton picks up the chores.

We learn it's not just Bobby's powers going haywire, as Boom-Boom attempts to demonstrate her powers:



Chance gets in Boom-Boom's face and pulls a knife. Siryn attempts to disarm her using her sonic powers, and...she overdoes it:



Jamie duplicates himself to help clean up, but the impact creates twice as many dupes as expected:



Meanwhile, Ariel, Gomi and Warlock are looking for larger digs, since they now need enough space for Devil Dinosaur. Of course, Don and Bill are close at Gomi's heels. In fact, Gomi has to warn Don about being underfoot. They find a loading bay next to their current building big enough for Devil Dinosaur.

Jamie reintegrates, but feels woozy. Vanisher sends all the angels other than Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur out to steal food. Ariel and Chance pair up, and they talk about whether they might be mutants. Each one thinks that's impossible. They play a joke on Bobby and Warlock by stealing a purse, blaming it on the two of them, then leading the two of them into a YWCA swimming pool. Chance and Ariel return to Beat Street:



This will not end well.

Meanwhile, Boom-Boom and Gomi (and Don and Bill) are out looking for food to steal when they run into Jamie. However, he completely ignores them:



Boom-Boom and Gomi pull him out of the street while Don and Bill take care of the hostile bike messenger. Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur see them and head to join them.

Cut to Jamie and Siryn--yes, another Jamie. Jamie is sick, and realizes that all of his dupes may not have reintegrated. One of them helped a woman home with her groceries back in issue #1, and then never came back.

Back at Beat Street, Bobby and Warlock have returned, and Bobby is pissed. However, before he can extract revenge, Ariel and Chance let him know that Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur have escaped, so they all rush out to look for him.

So, Gomi and Boom-Boom have the other Jamie (or the other-other-Jamie) and are attempting to help him when Siryn and other-Jamie show up. Jamie and nu-Jamie argue, and nu-Jamie tells him he wants a life of his own. Jamie grudgingly allows for this. The others show up




Alas, Don, we hardly knew ye...

I don't want to call it lobster in refrigerator but IMO this really took Bill to some interesting places. :P

As far as I know, Geoff Johns had nothing to do with this story...however, it's highly likely the butter industry may have influenced things in some manner.... :D
