Superheroic casual

Greetings scans_daily!

One of my favorite things to see in comics is when superheroes are seen doing casual things. Stuff like seeing Batman and Superman share a cup of coffee in a diner or Cassandra Cain hitting up a rave and dancing her heart out. Little moments that remind us these characters are still people and need some off-time to relax and unwind, moments that make them more human and real.

Any one have a favorite "superhero casual" moment they'd like to share?

Ooh, let's see...

It'd be neat to see some X-men: Revolution stuff. Maybe even some X-men: The Hidden Years, if anyone has it. Jean scenes are always appreciated.

Also, if anyone has anything from Gail Simone's Welcome to Tranquility, I'm on the fence about buying that. It looks pretty cool, but I'd like to see some of it before deciding.

I'd love to see some Hank McCoy (Beast)/Kitty Pryde interaction.

They're my two favorite X-Men besides Emma, and Whedon's Astonishing run was the first time I had seen them on a team together. But Whedon never really wrote in any interactions between the two. They talked at each other at times, but nothing very personal.

Both are geniuses, but very different types of genius personality-wise. So I'd appreciate if someone could think of a time where the two interacted in a way that denoted some kind of friendship or rapport or just acknowledgment of being affiliated with the same group for 30-odd years.

I'd go with that and specifically request the Conan flashback from 26 or 27. Also, any other Varnae appearances like in Tomb of Dracula Vol. 4 #2, Bizarre Adventures 33 and Dracula Lives 2-3.

And maybe that one story from Tomb of Dracula where they introduce Hannibal King and it's all noir and stuff. It's been a while since I read that issue and I don't have it on hand myself.
Also I'm curious as to what that brief period when the Riddler was a detective was like, so I'd love to see some of that.

I'd like to see some Cyber Force (the old and new volume) or maybe the first few issues of Damian as Robin debut, some Aquagirl.

Plus, maybe more Invicible . Or few comics drew by Micheal Turner, Cat Stagg or Talent Calwell will be awsome! :)

Was there a comic with Nathaniel Richards and Teen!Franklin and Kristoff Von Doom running around the timestream? Did I imagine that? If not, could someone post some?

Some pages of the Enclave, Him/Adam Warlock and Her/Kismet would be nice.

For the MarvelMovies, True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard is on my short list to play Adam Warlock, especially if the Enclave tricks Dr. Selvig (Stelan Skarsgard) into helping them. I think the Enclave should be played by various actors from The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf and Susan Sarandon. Adam Warlock is a lot like Rocky Horror anyway, and that means Eva Amurri (Sarandon's real life daughter) can play Her/Kismet.

How about the story that made me into a superman fan when I was a kid in the 70s, the Sandman Saga. Or how about that really trippy story where superman was transported to the future just minutes before his "death."

I'd like to see scans from Empire. A comic where a villain has to deal with ruling the world sounds interesting (especially done seriously).

I'd like to see something, anything, from the Powerpuff Girls comic. There were, like, sixty issues, and I haven't found anything aside from plot synopses.

Also, anything from Valiant, past or present. Archer and Armstrong is my new favorite comic on the stands right now.

I'd like to see something from the Image series Haunt. It started out looking pretty crappy, but I think they've switched creative teams since then and the cover at least look interesting (I seem to recall one having some sort of demon hunting hippie on the front) so I'd like to see if the series is actually good now.

I actually liked the original team on Haunt, but got the first new creative team issue and it was pretty bad. Scans that could tell me if it got better or not and is worth buying would be nice.
