52 episodes is pretty darn good for a cartoon these days, so it's hard for me to get mad about not getting a third season.

And of course the merchandise didn't sell, the action figures couldn't stand up, and they gave Captain Atom a figure before most of the characters who actually had a speaking role. Seriously, that toy line had so much wrong with it, who's really surprised it didn't sell?

Although the time skip was a pretty bold move... I kinda lost interest. I think they went a bit too far too fast with the characters. Not that is was *bad*- I just wanted to see more from the original team.

I think that the time skip would've worked a lot better if CN had just kept airing new episodes in a timely manner. It's pretty much common knowledge that networks like to have the freedom to air their reruns in any order they want when it comes to kids shows, and the time skip pretty much killed their chances of doing that without confusion. Even without the sudden three month hiatus.

The time-skip and a lot of things that happened afterward really, really pissed me off. Aqualad no longer being on the team, Kon and M'gann's relationship broken up, M'gann randomly mind-raping people and yet nobody calls her out on her shit.

A lot of what they did bothered the piss out of me, but things did get a lot better, and by the last aired episode, I had renewed interest.

And then CN does this shit.

Seriously I looked for YJ merch and couldn't find any (yes I checked Wal-Mart) beyond the skateboards at McDonalds and one Robin action figure at a games store (I wanted Artemis or Blue Beetle but would have settled for a Kid Flash). In addition to all the other problems this series has had that are already listed in these comments, I can kind of see why the powers that be are realizing they've lost fans.

The toy line was cancelled sometime this past winter/spring. You can find the toys in the clearance aisle of Walmart/Target sometimes, otherwise check discount store (Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Gordman's, Ross, etc), because they'll sometimes have a few in their toy sections.

Re: your blog post: If Young Justice had been pulled due to a rights issue with Static and the othe Milestone characters, thy woul have aired a rerun instead of canceling the entire block, and more importantly they would have been quicker to get the episode pulled from iTunes. That episode was up for an entire day, being sold for money that would have complicated the future handling of those rights, while the Green Lantern episode didn't stay up past noon. If there was a content issue behind the DC Nation block being pulled, and there is absolutely no reason to believe this is even a maybe, it would be in the Green Lantern episode. For example, there was a reference made to Alan Scott, which could have led to protests on account of him currently being portrayed as homosexual. It's quite unlikely to be true, but at least it somewhat fits with the evidence.
