Four pages from TRANSFORMERS: MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE #12. The latest issue puts a focus on one of the strongest relationships currently being depicted in comics, that between Autobots Rewind and Chromedome.
During a raid on an enemy lair, Rewind has sustained grave injuries.
While waiting to see how Rewind will respond to the treatment, Chromedome speaks to Tailgate.
And so, How Rewind Met Chromedome:
The outlook is grim: Turns out Chromedome's spark is "low yield," so it's not up to the task of jumpstarting Rewind, whose only chance now is if another person in the crew who's a compatible donor, as unlikely as that is.
Fortunately, they're able to find someone.
