In the Elseworlds 80-Page Giant, there is a totally awesome story called "Rockumentary," which features some of our favorite DC characters in a slightly different light.



Of course, then gimmick-y shock rockers become popular. Stuff like Kiss, Gwar, Doomsday...







You should buy this book. It's amaaaaazing.

The Elseworld's 80-Page Giant is almost impossible to find in its first printing as it was withdrawn and pulped after complaints about a "Superman's babysitter" storyline where baby Clark wanders into a microwave oven.

It's been reprinted since, but the originals are rare.

They just released it as a digital comic on comixpedia with the Superman's babysitter story. It's a good buy.
