Wondy's presence just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it? Now we've got a mass killing daughter who abides to a character she calls lord.

Alright, alright. I know where this is headed. Where are the four pages detailing the sex between Wonder Woman and Fury's father before Wonder Woman finally admits to actually loving her daughter? But if this comic has an even better idea on how to sink this ship to lower depths, I'm tempted to know how.

A reference to an event which made me drop the new 52 Wonder Woman. In it, Diana has just discovered her true origins and confronts her mother about it. Hippolyte The next four pages showcase Hippolyte explaining her sexual encounters with Zeus and how it was so glorious and wonderful ect. ect. It's not until we cut back to the present where we finally get one dialogue bubble where Hippolyte tells Diana that she does in fact love her. Again, four pages of detailed godly sex is more important than a single page of Hippolyte's love for Diana. That is what killed the new Wonder Woman for me.

Less page time /= less important. I just finished reading the latest of DIAL H, a comic that several pages of fight scene and one single panel, sometime later, on the source of the main character's powers being stolen by a villain. Now, which one sounds of greater import?

hmmm i find it interesting.... Fury is kinda both "Fury" Lytta Trevor and a Female Fury of Apokalips....

that said... so far i have liked Earth 2.... i am hoping Fury turns from him quickly though....

Robinson's said that this is not the same Fury that we saw Pre-Crisis, in that she isn't the daughter of WW and Steve Trevor.

Oh wow...giving more weight to the JLU option..or perhaps she's born of clay as Diana was. That too would be awesome.

I love that they reinstated Fury as Wonder Woman's daughter, but I hate what Robinson did to her character in this book. In addition to turning her into Steppenwolf's pet, this continues the problem of further eliminating the Amazons from both continuities, and Robinson especially took away Diana's influence from Lyta's character and bastardised the foundation of her character.

I didn't think it was possible for DC to continue their damage on Diana's narrative after they masculinised her origin and paired her off with Superman on the mainstream universe, but they just manage to outdo themselves each and every time. I'd dare say turning Wonder Woman's daughter into an Apokolitan Warlord's pet is almost worse than what Brian Azzarello did to the mainstream Wonder Woman.

Hopefully Fury will pull a Xena-style reformation on us and see what her mother was really like and reaffirm her dedication to the Amazon principles against Steppenwolf.

Which will no doubt come in the form of a male character instigating this 'reformation' so that it can continue the theme of the new 52 Wonder Woman being dependent on male characters.

I have been watching this title to see if James Robinson shows even a glimmer of the talent he once had.

It hasn't happened yet. This is one of the most awful and pointless titles of the Nu52. And each issue is worse than the last.

Though granted, a lack of his Terry Sloane is always a plus--an utterly vile AND boring character who one can tell Robinson REALLY likes and thinks is awesome.

It would be awesome if, now that Diana Jr is on Earth, having spent apparently her childhood on Apokolpis, if the Furies of Myth somehow led her into avenging her mother's death at the hands of Steppy.

I wonder if their be a chance for a female trinity in the future with Fury,Powergirl and Huntress?

I was thinking of that too and how awesome that would be. Though for that to happen, the PTB would need to let Huntress and Power Girl return to Earth-2...

Well, that's... huh.

In this continuity, Kendra is an established archaeologist. This puts her in a prime position to help Lyta connect with Amazon society, and reject Steppy and his corrupting influence.

Please let the story play out this way, DC. Please please pretty please.

I'm sure it will upset some people, since he's a guy, but since Jay got his powers from Mercury I'm thinking he could be involved. Maybe lead her into the Greek underworld and she meets Diana's spirit

Writers attempts with things like this just make me pissed off at the writers.
