S.H.I.E.L.D.'s lost an analog tape containing sensitive footage, and now it's going to be sold at a black market auction in Madripoor. Hawkeye's sent to retrieve it.

Although they didn't use it, the decoy tape of WOLVERINE as an ASSASSIN was meant to be as 'shocking' as Cap or Hawkeye?

Yeah, because it means that a high profile superhero is being used as an official assassin by the American government. Even so, his identity didn't matter as much as the fact that if it was him on the tape, they'd know which tape it was and thus who let it get out.

It honestly wouldn't be hard to get a tape of Wolverine killing an enemy of the US government. All you'd need is free time and air fare.

He didn't even need an air fare when Magneto, of all people, asked him in Uncanny X-Force.

Going after Middle Eastern terrorist organizations isn't really his baliwick, though. Footage of Wolverine killing three dozen Hand ninjas is probably sufficiently common that it's in the fifty-cent bin at your corner video store, but you don't see him in Afghanistan too often, particularly not in full costume.

This is the best superhero book being produced right now.

I was laughing so hard
and this was so good
and real and wonderful and fun and terrifying all at once. They act like REAL people and not like silly ink-and-paper idiots who seem to have been created without the good sense to know when they're being dumb.

And the ART. The shrug could be seen perfectly, and it's easy on the eyes.

Plus I had stitches in my sides from seeing Clint getting carried off by SHIELD agents. Wonderful.

Oh Katie. Oh Clint. You're like two roommates, crossing the lines of awkward but never taking your left foot off of the safe zone.
