Favorite Female Manga Heroine

By far my favorite manga female character is Jolyne Kujo from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. She's the daughter of Jotaro Kujo from Part 3 Stardust Crusaders and is the main protagonist of Part 6 Stone Ocean. Part 6 takes place years after the battle with Dio Brando. Jolyne is framed for a crime she did not commit and is sent to Green Dolphin Street Prison in St. Lucie, Florida. During the early days in the prison she begins to develop her own stand powers after cutting her hand on an amulet given by Jotaro....

Here's her first battle with the stand Goo Goo Dolls.

I look forward to the anime adaptation of this arc (every arc, really) as they continue along with the JJBA 25th anniversary.

I know! And given how well they did Caesar's death I have nothing but high hopes for the rest of the arcs.

I wish I could like Jojo. It has a very unique art style, awesome characters, and extremely creative power sets.

But the over-the-top gore really grosses me out. I don't normally have a problem with gore (I watched Hokuto no Ken as a kid), but Jojo's is really too much for me :/

I haven't got very far into the series (like, at all), but everything I've seen of Jolyne just makes her look so fantastic and fun!

I'm excited for the new fighting game though and really want to try playing with Jolyne especially. I can't wait to get to her arc in the comic~.

Nice pick, Jolyne is easily one of the best JoJo's. She has her father angry personality and her great grandfather snark.
It's too bad we didn't get anything about her relationship with her great grandfather and Josuke.
