In comparison Dick got off fairly easy, he could just ask Bruce for a loan if need be. It's not like Bruce wouldn't spare him a million or two if asked, also Dick didn't have insurance for the investment he put all of his money into?

I was to focused on Tim's red-eyes-take-warning face to realize that technically both he and Wondergirl were being raped. Now I've lost my appetite, thank you so much for that DC, that's classy writing right there.

He probably has some kind of master plan in mind beyond just using Tim as a means to sleep with unsuspecting girls. ...Probably generally demonic evilness, as opposed to trying to impregnate female superheroines with quasi-demonic offspring or something icky like that.

It might, rather, be one of Trigon's sons, who apparently each embody one of the seven deadly sins, including Lust.

So distracting/coorupting Tim by upping his teenage libido seems like a sensible approach to take.

I believe he's making moves on a super-genius little person now, which is mainly only creepy because the art makes her look like a child.

Same. I can't believe it. I am I know DC has always played around with the whole Robin bondage think. Especially with Tim being a virgin, but I never thought they would take it this far.

I mean WG is his first time having sex in comics right?

There was implictly something that happened between him and Cass that could be seen as the climax of their relationship post-War Crimes (bizarrely out of all the Bat Family Tim was the one she was protrayed as being closest to after her mindcontrol wore off).

But yeah, plenty of people have propositioned Tim (including Cass' mother and Hans Von Hammer's granddaughter, who told him to call her when he turned 18) but he didn't take any of them up on it until this point.

Dick couldn't get insurance on his investment due to it being a fairground in Gotham, which is roughly akin to opening an open air barbecue in the heart of the Fireworks Making District, or renting a warehouse in the Abandonded Warehouse District of Angel Grove.

I know it was probably tongue in cheek but I'm going to agree that while I would love to read the further adventures of Cass Cain and Stephanie Brown it's probably best for them they haven't been seen in the reboot.

It's almost as if Didio/Lee/DC said to themselves when planning (or rather "hastily putting together") the "new" 52 they said to themselves "hey, remember how dark and grim DC had gotten where we killed characters, including a little girl, every week just for effect? Well, let's see if we can make it darker and grimmer and "edgier" than ever, heck, we can have a whole line just called "Dark" in case no one gets the message".

Seriously, it's gotten to the point where even with the Bat-Family I no longer recognize these characters except in name only.

I'm worried that it may be Raven who is the one manipulating Tim's emotions to use him as some pawn for whatever she's planning, whether it involves helping her father or to defeat him (whether for the greater good or not is another question). Sadly, this isn't new for her either...

Of course, DC/Lobdell/whoever may whip out the "Trigon Made Me Do It" card if they realize how bad this is and want her to be a hero. Or the characters will confirm they were just making out and no sex to make it less gross... but still gross.

Isn't this another squick moment for WG now in the nu52? Because her 0 issue involved that rather. . questionable relationship (including sex, correct?) with that creepy older guy.

I'm glad Donna isn't around too, because DC seems to want to crap on the Wonder family too (even Diana's own title has questionable things going on, even if the writing itself is good).

I hadn't though about these things all together yet... I think I'm seriously done with DC until this reboot thing gets sorted out. I know that sounds like super-Lent. But I really think I am.

^I'm starting to think the same thing. Or at least I'll avoid many more of the new 52 trades, since trades are easier for me. The sad thing is that I just got two more in the mail today. Maybe I'll keep looking at Aquaman, or maybe World's Finest, since I had wanted to get that from the start, but with the Superman/Wonder Woman silliness, the need for Batman to have ANOTHER Robin killed with the same name as the last story, and things like this, I'm avoiding most of this new stuff. It's mostly garbage.

And I'm avoiding DC Nation too.

DC Nation is/was good though. YJ was excellent for the most part.

DC Nation was good, was being the key word. I loved GLTAS and YJ to an extent, and I see nothing really interesting about these new shows. And considering how the network has treated its fans lately, I there's another reason not to give them my viewership. Maybe I will check out the shows for the sake of curiosity, but I doubt I'll like them.
