One Perfect Moment: Beast Boy
While I've commented several times, this is my first official post in the new journal. I apologize if the tags aren't correct. I tried.
I've always loved this piece from the 3rd issue of the Beast Boy mini-series. To me, it defines what DC was trying to do with Beast Boy at the time... show that he's not the little kid of the team anymore who doesn't need "big brother Nightwing" to bail him out.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the line, TPTB decided to regress Gar to his 80's personality and have totally screwed him over for the last 2 years or so.
BTW, more of my Beast Boy scans (and the original artwork, which I acquired from the inker Chris Ivy) are at www.garfieldlogan.com

* In my head I have an automatic filter which refuses to refer to any non-Animated or post joining the NTT version of Garfield Logan as "Beast Boy", it was an asinine move to revert to the old name.

And I suspect the reason they changed Gar's name to Beast Boy was because while Gar was in comic limbo, a game company began producing an RPG called "Changeling: The Dreaming". I think TPTB may have decided it was easier to go back to the old name than to get into a law suit over "Changeling".

It encapsulates so much of how he relates to the other Titans: an unavoidable, irksome, yet lovable little brother who's loyal to a fault.
I also like the moment in the third Teen Titans run (collected along with the pages above in Beast Boys and Girls) when he reinjects himself with the sakutia virus, declaring that he likes his life.

True, but it also points to the fact that he's always a "sixth wheel" to the "fab five". For me, it illustrates a point of the fact that he was the best person for the job (Vic's best friend), but they decided to leave him behind with the others. They still think of him as the "little brother" and don't necessarily treat him as a capable member of the team.

True. That's a good one. There's also a few good moments from Arcudi's DP that I was tempted to post (like the way he blamed himself for Dr. Kolodenko's death, and how he still related to Robotman after all these years). And then, there's a few from the Hunt for the killers of the DP arc from the 80's. Or how he's making himself crazy preparing Donna's wedding.
But this particular moment just says a lot to me.
