Even if Batgirl is good, I am going to be extremely disappointed if it's the only book that Oracle is in. Of course she should be a supporting character in any Batgirl book, but for that to be her only focus and the only title where she's a regular? Very depressing.

I've complained about that quite a bit. So I'm going to complain about something else.

Bah, new Batgirl costume.

I love Cass' costume. In fact, that's probably what first interested me in the character. I mean sure it's probably impractical (no more so than Spider-Man, but it's got a wonderful dark creepy quality that I love. Barbara's old costume, in most variations I've seen, are boring. Cass' wasn't, and I don't have faith that they'll make something appealing to me.

I love Cass' costume too, but I'm willing to see what the new costume will be before I shit on it. It's probably going to be like Dick's Batman costume--where they made a big deal about his costume changing and just gave him fancy new gauntlets and a Superman Returns-esque belt buckle.

Ya know what'd be grand? The title changing from Batgirl to Batgirls.

Cass, Oracle, Steph, Squire, Huntress, Onyx (yeah, remember her?) and basically every available Bat-female in one massive team book. There've been several decent essays regarding the split between the Batboys and the Batgirls, so why not play off it in full? Hell, other low-powered dark ladies like Katana, Ravager and, hell, Zatanna and even Empress could guest star regularly!

And maybe Black Canary could stop buy and get her awesome back.

It's obviously Tim Drake. Red Robin was merely a ruse to catch Dick and Damian off-guard, since neither would expect it. This way, he can get back into their good graces, spy on them, and maybe even get Damian to develop a crush on him before ripping off the mask and BAM! A trap is sprung.

And you all thought Bruce making him cross-dress as "disguise training" was just some one-off. HA!
