Would this be tied into the "horrible thing" that Bruce knew about?

At the end of Battle for the Cowl, Jason fought Dick, and Dick hit a nerve when he brought up the horrible experience of his youth, and that he could get help.

Speculation: Did Jason cause his mom to OD, or buy her the drugs that would weaken her immune system?
