One page from Superman/Batman #61, and the resolution of a previous quandry.

Turns out it was not Robin Lois, its...Lana Quinn.

There's some other decent mish-mashes, but I think Ravanna was the best. I'll post it if someone wants, but after the spirited discussion on the prospect of Robin Lane (Totally should have happend!), I thought I'd post the answer!

He's one crazy haircut away from ruling Marvel.

*laughs* Does anyone have that web comic of Lex lecturing Osborne about not blowing by being insane?

Hmm, not on my comp but I do remember it.

Of course my favorite bit was.

Lex: I am a man from another universe who's here to give you some tips now that you're in power.
Norman: Given who I associate with I won't be surprised.
Lex: Good man.

I was fond of the 'poem' Norman was writing.

Lex: Maim, kill, kill, destroy Spider-man? Hmm...
Norman: It's a work in progress.
Lex: I see.

Lex had such a 'god damnit, maybe I should just trade places with him' look on his face too.

Oh I LIKE that one.

Nice commentary on the Lex stops being President becasue... well, because he suddenly went completely batshit insane and started frothing at the mouth ranting when on live television.

I still like the JLU line, where Luthor reveals his plan to run for president plan was entirely fake because "Why would I want the job? Do you have any idea how much power and infulence I'd have to GIVE UP if I were to become President?"

The notion that President of the USA is too limiting and underpowered a position for Lex amuses me no end! :)

Well, there is that whole "checks and balances" thing that you don't have to worry about as the head of a company...

Being president is a come down for Lex, who on his own time, runs his company like a fiefdom. Being president means giving up that freedom: all sorts of unsavory characters (elected officials, retired people, boy scouts) have claims on your time. And you can't very well hie off into whereversville for villainous adventure whenever you like, can you? You've got meetings, and press conferences, and peace in the Middle East to worry about.
