it's supposed to be that pale. The sketch they showed of her design actually said vampire pale, I believe.

Well, it's a poor design choice, then. Pale is one thing, but with the blazing red hair and with everyone else having a normal skin tone, it makes her look like Dracula's rebellious Irish daughter.

Well, technically they're Scottish, but eh, not that much difference.

Pure white skin, like to stay out late and drink blood, the usual.

Heh. Now I'm picturing Dracula's rebellious Irish daughter for real. I see her as being one of those angry Goth/clubber types, hanging out in some dimly-lit rock club where the music registers on the Richter scale, dressed in black leather, covered in Celtic tattoos, smoking an unfiltered Pall Mall, waiting for some overmuscled twerp to invite her to make out in the alley, then out come the fangs...
