Kind of a shame to waste his talent on this thoroughly mediocre book. Hopefully this'll lead to Marvel giving him some actual work.

Oh, it doesn't surprise me from Danny at all. Guy's been in love with the woman for, what, thirty years now? It surprises me from the title, though, which hasn't seemed real interested in their relationship beyond a general background context.

Makes a lot of sense once it's out there, though - romance hasn't been any kind of real through-thread for IIF, but family certainly has.

They are both heroes.

She has a metal arm, he can turn his fist into a "Thing of Iron."

She has great hair, he has a bitchin' tattoo.

She brings in the Funk, he brings in the Noise.

He limps when she twists her hips and he's mastered one-hit Chi orgasm strikes.

And they both have BFFs. Danny would never get between her and Colleen and Misty understands the eternal Guy-Love between Danny and Luke.
