In a pluralistic society, with many different social values among different people, it's absolutely necessary to develop a degree of tolerance for things that are not to your tastes. I am repulsed by men, and thus find this picture a little bit squicky. Did I complain about it? Absolutely not. It's not to my taste, which means I'm not the target audience for it. I can turn the page, or change the channel, or click the back button to avoid things that I find distasteful. I do that every time someone posts gay male porn here, which personally squicks me out. I don't bitch about it, because I don't have any business trying to enforce my tastes on everyone else and spoiling their enjoyment. I just leave those postings alone. Nobody's forcing me to click them open, after all.

I wish others would display more of that kind of tolerance.
