So, in that first panel, it wasn't water that I immediately thought the white on Namor was.

Someone remind me why Namor hasn't punched Norman's head off yet.

Doesn't help that it looks as though Normie is just fastening his tie.

Norman in the last panel has a satified look. This is the most homoerotic comic scene I seen in a while.

Why isn't anyone editing and changing the dialogue, that would be funny.

I wonder if Norman is proud traditional conservative snice it seems so and if Harry turn gay as a teen, what would he do to him.

All it needed was Norman to ask "Do you like... oysters Namor?"

Of course, Namor would have spoiled the moment by replying "Some of my best friends are oysters"

Oh come on, did they have to make the water dripping of Namor white? And why does he look so ashamed?

Is the "Namor as mutant" something that's been established before, or is it another effort to fit in as many anti-heroes onto as many books as possible?

Because he thinks this alliance will help Atlantis in some way.

I don't know WHY he thinks that Osborn's so important, but...

It's been long established.

In fact, they've been weakening it, lately - he used to be called the first (modern*) Dr Nemesis seems to be being given that distinction.

* As opposed to, you know, Apocalypse.

Well, it was kinda something they pulled out of their ass when the X-Men and related titles were dominating at Marvel so strongly that making someone a mutant would theoretically be a guaranteed sales boost. it was a stretch then, and it's a stretch now.

Wouldn't Selene be older than Apocalypse?

Is Seline a mutant?

It's so hard to keep track of all the 'First Mutant' contenders...

When I talked to Matt Fraction at HeroesCon about the "First Mutant Namor" thing he said it would be addressed in Utopia, and probably debunked.

Norman is watching Namor walk away and thinking "he'll hurt me and make me write bad checks, but I'm going to love every minute of it."

With lots of Oysters.

With Mer-People and Oysters it's the same principle as with Whales and Barnacles. Yeah, that's the real reason Whales get Barnacles; it can be awfulll lonely out there in the big blue when mating season is off.

Yes, she's a mutant (a life force leech who can use stolen life energy to animate matter telekinetically), but a sorceress as well, so it gets confusing.
