Our heroes are closing in on the last Infinity Gem! Teleporting straight out of Giganto's belly, they find themselves on the lawn of the White House! Inside, some Secret Service types are dogsitting.


After smuggling themselves in, the Pet Avengers sneak through the building, dragging an exhausted Lockjaw with them.






Well, now that there's no point in hoping they'll use the Infinity Gems to resurrect Steve Rogers, I suppose a climactic showdown with Thanos was made to order!

And yeah, that cameo could of gone a lot worse.

Also we see why Tippy-Toe isn't there. If Thanos had spotted her he simply would of walked right back through his Boom Tube thus ending the comic.

I definitely prefer to think of this as the 'actual' version of Monica even though this is likely going to be ignored as continuity. It's a lot better than the cliched grouchy bitch she seems to be in Divas.

Love the James Bond movies, and Xenia was a cool cross between the Bond Girl and Bizarre Henchman archetypes. And I've liked Famke Janssen in almost anything I've seen her in. (When the Black Widow movie still thread went up, it occurred to me if we could've swapped out ScarJo in the fright wig for Jean Grey in the X-movies and put Famke in Iron Man II as Natasha we'd've been all good.)

I didn't much care for Janssen in the X-movies, but as Natasha, wow! It's probably the X-movies' fault she wasn't even considered for it, though. :(

I definitely agree with this. Famke would've been great with the Widow, and I always thought she was too old for Jean, but she can completely rock the red hair. She's also older and beautiful in a way that makes complete sense for Natasha.

Ms. Lion is just a dog and can talk to the other animals, but Bo is also just a dog and doesn't seem able to. It is because Bo is so young?
I think we will find out that Ms. Lion has some kind of power.

Sadly there not much exploring of the characters. I want to know more about them.

Actually it would be Spider-Dog, since well Ms. Lion name is a misnomer.
But if we keep in line with the gender bending name, Spider-Bitch would be correct.
If we go by the name, then it would Spider-Li... be very confusing since it's a Ms, but Lion means male, but then Lion also means both the male and female Big Cats... *breaks brain*

I could be wrong, but I think the others are psychically linked through one of the Gems. Bo isn't.

I checked the first issue and it looked like Hairball and Ms. Lion where talking to each other before Lockjaw teleported the rest in.
Also Lockjaw can't talk, Throg has a gem that allows him to read minds, so he reads Lockjaw's mind when he needs to.

It could be that they will show Bo talking next issue. When Hairball and Ms. Lion are first shown they are barking an meowing, then showed talking, then a sound which I assume is Lockjaw teleporting in is heard.

Yes, I love this comic so much I reread part of it, just to make sure.

OK, alternate theory - all the members of the PA either are super themselves or they've been around superheroes long enough to absorb some of that indefinable 'super-stuff' that surrounds them like an aura. It may not be enough to make them super themselves, but it is enough to give them a vaguely Krypto-like intelligence. Bo, on the other hand, has hung around Obama - and while Obama may be plenty nifty, he's not super.

Good theory. People around supers sometimes can do extraordinary stuff, so I can't see why pets around them couldn't.

But, I also want Ms. Lion to have some really silly super power, that turns out to be useful somehow in saving the day.

That might be a tad difficult. I mean, his (it is a 'he', yes? I heard the name was a misnomer) teammates include a teleporter, a cat with Speedball's powers, a sabertooth tiger, and the GOD OF THUNDER IN FROG FORM. The spectrum of powers is already pretty well covered. I would say the only way Ms. Lion can save the day in that way is if she accidentally swallows one of the more powerful gems.

I don't want him to save the day, just help.
Maybe have some power that allows him to point out just the right place to hit or something. Useless in everyday life, but still a power.

You can't have him along and not have him do something important, even if he doesn't end up with powers. He needs to do something that makes it a good idea he was on the team.

If he doesn't do anything important, then hopeful this is a test series that works and we get more where we can see Ms. Lion do something important.

Judging by the Frog of Thunder, I'm assuming the Avenger's have been turned into animals and are now teaming up with Lockjaw to find that ruby to turn them back to the animals. If that's the case who are the other Animal Avenger? and can someone give me more details on the story.

As for the rest of them, Redwing is the Falcon's falcon, Lockheed is Kitty Pryde's dragon, Zabu is Ka-Zar's sabre-toothed tiger, Niels/Hairball is Speedball's cat, and Ms. Lion was originally Firestar's dog in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, but he belongs to Aunt May in the comics.
The black dog is Bo Obama, the presidential mutt.
