Megatron vs. Shockwave
Jul. 19th, 2009 01:00 pmI apologize for cutting out the Circuit Breaker's origin which also happens in this issue. The end was just too good to pass up. This fight take's place in Transformers #8. For those wondering why Megatron is challenging Shockwave for leadership of the Decepticons see this:

And that's about the best shot Megs gets on Shockwave, who then show's off why he's so darn frightful: his total devotion to logic.

So Shockwave spares Megatron giving him a fate worse than death:

I used to have one of the next issues. I can't remember which one. It involved Dinobots. So I'm guessing they saved the Autobots but not Prime who remans a prisoner of Shockwave to #11 and I guess #12.
Alas to say, whatever comics I had of this series or G.I. Joe never survived past my childhood or is lost in for now in the boxes I kept my video game magazines.

Date: 2009-07-19 08:51 pm (UTC)Ratchet tricks Megatron into allowing him to reactivate the Dinobots, but in the end Ratchet himself defeats Megatron (leading to #13) and reactivates the Autobots. If I had an account, I'd post those issue myself, but now you know the rest of the back-story. Good day.
