Man, it looks like Grundy's about to mount that car in that one scan, doesn't it?

Like he's just about to turn that care upside down and screw it raw, with the guy still inside.

and that guy in there is looking at his think and thinking, "Oh my God, Solomon Grundy is about to fuck my car."

It's scary how much I'm getting in this cracked-out mind-set, because I kind of predicted Clark probably hypnotised Steve.

Why does Clark Kent have groupies? Do all news anchors count as groupie-worthy celebrities in this reality? Does Dan Rather have groupies in the DCU? Does Peter Mansbridge have to beat them off with a stick? Was Walter Cronkite's passing a media frenzy with sobbing fangirls and tribute concerts (which would be kinda awesome)?

You should watch the Cronkite tribute from last night's Colbert Report. It was a scream.

It was pretty good, and the Stewart-Jennings duel before it was a nice run-up.

I suppose it's a corollary to Rule 34 -- if it exists, someone is a groupie for it.

They should create an updated Terri for the 21st century. Instead of hanging around Clark's office, she just posts slash fiction about him.

As a form of viral marketing, they should start posting Clark slashfic written from the perspective of someone who clearly doesn't know Clark is Superman, under a pseudonym, something like "KentFan721", then reintroduce her in issue 721, for example.

It'll be perfect until the "think of the children!" groups get wind of it. So nobody tell them.

Well, to some extent, Rachel Maddow has groupies in our reality, so it's not that far off.

Lombard doesn't look horrified in that panel on the first page, he looks like he's having a very girly orgasm.

Maybe he's secretly a Clark Kent groupie too.

Do groupies actually identify themselves as groupies?

So, whatever happened to Terri? Was she erased from continuity?
