So this is supposed to allow the audience to root for the sociopath by having him kill an even bigger sociopath?

Well, teenage me liked the Punisher, so I suppose it works sometimes. But these days, I'm seeing quite enough of sociopaths In Real Life. A fictional world where everyone is a sociopath is not one I currently care to escape to. :/

Bullseye strikes me as one of those characters who should probably stay dead or, at least, disabled. He too actively seeks a high bodycount, and too many heroes will make it personal to go after him (Like, Elektra. Bullseye alive? Call Elektra and she will rectify the situation). That said, dropping him on a cartel is one of the better uses for him... of course, it's safe to assume that he's doing so to take over or something.

And I do wonder why FBI person thinks these two can be of use. Even if they're pretty badass, this is a bit above the paygrade.

Well, they're not complete randos. Bullet and Shotgun are old Daredevil villains. They've fought Captain America and such.

Ah, thought the names were familiar.

They're probably still swinging above their paygrade, unless Bullseye's still crippled or something.

Ah, that does make more sense. Yea, I can see that... though it's still rather wishful thinking of the FBI agent.

Is this FBI agent off the reservation? Because there's no way she's doing this in an official capacity; the FBI's specific remit is essentially being a national investigation unit for the US. They do not operate on foreign soil, that is strictly CIA territory. It's right there in the names. If she is, why would former-CIA agents take her at her word that the deal is legit (which I'm assuming it isn't). SHIELD would make sense in this capacity, but they chose not to use them.

This series looks to be trying to sell me on putting a character like Bullseye in more realistic context, but for me that only highlights the disconnects FROM reality; the sort of items a superhero book should lean away from, because it threatens to highlight many of the elements of that kind of story that pull you out of it, IMHO.

Why is she so shocked?

Man do we know if she even is FBI or CIA. Is it possible she is just some rando Bullseye pissed off and is manipulating people to track him down?

Also who the fuck is going after bullseye for 1mil. 1mil ain't nothing.

She's legit FBI, off the reservation and likely lying.

And yeah, one mil is low balling a fight with Bullseye
