Will she and the new Madame Hydra get into a hat battle?

You know, if we're to be sold on Emma as a villain, then her punching Nazis is not likely the way to do it even if it is intended to be an 'evil vs evil' scenario.

Marvel has so many events stacked on events, this sort of thing keeps happening. Remember when they made Sam Captain America and his first major action was to go evil in AXIS?

Ah, true. Still, a lot of the time it's 'they have someone do X just so they can serve Y role'. Much of the time it's planned I feel, at least in the immediate.

What's in a name?

New Tian? Isn't that Chinese for Heaven?

Hmmm, naming a mutant controlled area anything that even remotely resembles the word "utopia" is probably going to end pretty poorly.

Also, what is up with her outfit? I know she doesn't get cold in diamond form, but who on earth wears that outfit outside of their sex dungeon?

Tian was the name of a mutant city in the south east Asian republic in the Ultimate Universe. It was led by the Xorn brothers and was created by Hickman back in the day.

It didn't end well. Kinda got destroyed in a war with the Ultimate Universe's Utopia.

Emma has often worn sexualised outfits...

I have more of a problem with this one just being... not particulatly flattering. She appears to be cosplaying Lady Death

Yeah same...It's not that it's revealing, it's just an ugly costume and not one that is gonna be depicted well by less talented artists.

This. It's hideous. The first thing out of my mouth when I saw that cover was "WHAT are you WEARING?"

One thing is her sexualized outfits were either lingerie with fur or, just not very much, but smooth or soft.

She didn't have the bondage/spikey look on any prior outfit.

Also, the helmet makes it so much worse.

True. If we are lucky future artist will at least ignore that part.

Also, to be fair, often what's shown on covers doesn't entirely match what's inside the issue.

I'm pretty sure her bustier at least was leather. There's no real spikes on this I see, she's just wearing shoulder pads

Leather, sure, but quite different styling.

The red dots on the legs and arm guards here are spikes. They're the kind of detail one normally sees on mind controlled people (and/or Rachel Summers, who likes spikes).

are you sure they aren't jewels? They look like they match her necklace. Maybe they're made from the ruby quartz of Cyclops' visor

Oh good, I was worried that Emma would end up in Soule's Astonishing X-men as the villain. Still might happen but at least she'll get to punch nazis first.

And look she's got her own faction of X-men. Maybe they won't be as white as Blue, Gold and Astonishing.

I would think that was Namorita experimenting with a new outfit.

Figures. Frost only gets villainized long enough to get a new sexy costume. Those colors don't suit her, though. And her nose looks pointy, like Metal Man Mercury.

Whoah, that outfit looks kind of black and strappy and bondage-esque for Emma! I always picture her with the white long gloves and thigh-high boots and flowing ape. And she has arms like Ms Marvel and why is her skin green?

....SO, ZUB, WE MEET AGAIN.
