'He’s actually pretty dangerous! He’s kind of goofy, but then so was Boris Johnson. He’s got future technology that’s better than anything in the present, and he’s using it to make sure the future of this “alternate past” belongs entirely to him — a global kleptocracy, with him behind the scenes, manipulating all aspects of life to serve the end goal of funneling more cash into his vaults.' -- Al Ewing

I swear that "HA" panel is drawn directly from stills of Trump mocking a disabled man.

There's something about those pirate robots being so... stereotypically pirate-y that just makes them very endearing. Especially the one going "Jim-lad".

... that's not normal, is it?

Also, Dani Cage uses her shield to fly.
That's either completely ludicrous and insane, or the most awesome use of the shield yet.
Or both.

-"We're looking for a Murderworld."
"Sounds fun."
"Actually, they kind of are."-
'Berto.
'Berto, no. No, 'Berto. Just no.

Just finished re-reading "Treasure Island" so that robot strikes a chord... http://www.skjam.com/2017/03/18/book-review-treasure-island/

That's not Captain America's original shield. In her world that was destroyed in Zero Day that happened instead of Civil War II. So yeah... very high-tech piece of equipment that's basically also a drone and can fly (mostly used to make it always return to her).

I... am aware of that.

Marvel: No, Al, you can't have her RIDING the shield, it's a symbol of everything Captain America stands for and--
Ewing: And everyone I know who played in the snow as a kid rode one down a hill at some point.
Marvel: ...damn you, Rule of Cool.

Gold Skull as Trump just seems redundant. Norman Osborn was already pretty Trumpy.

But Osborn is smart.

More opportunistic than smart. He let's people like Mendel Stormm and Miles Warren do all the work and then he takes the credit.

Osborn is smarter though, especially now that he's not insane anymore.

Gold Skull's head in that last panel is confusing. Around his eyes it looks like a mask, but around his mouth it looks as if it's his actual face.

You mean the one with Dani teleporting? That's him bound up like Hannibal Lecter. He's wearing a tan muzzle.

Yeah, the "Didn't I?" panel. I missed the muzzle panel when I wrote the other post.

So, was a time paradox created because the shield existed in multiple pl;aces at the same time?

I love that you put a warning in the title for tv tropes... I have lost many lives on that page...

It's not the original shield because that was destroyed in this Dani's timeline.
