Mister Sinister was actually the new Intelligencia's second choice for their fourth, after the fifth call Doctor Demonicus didn't pick up.

I just noticed, besides Sinister, the other three were part of the original Inteligencia.

Also, i wonder if Otto will be mad he was excluded membership yet again.

"Otto? We thought you were dead. You know, at the moment."

"Long story, and it involves clones."

"Ah, say no more. ... So... did you still want to join?"

"No, no... it would be too awkward now, but thanks for asking."

"Sure, sure... perhaps on the next go-round, then?"

"Heh, provided any of us live that long? Sure."

I loved the original inteligencia and i'm happy to see the leader again.

Kinda wish they had a added one of the female evil scientists this time though.

Also, having Sinister as a member seems ill adviced.

They'll just form their own group, the Sinister Sisterhood (no boys allowed).

Aside from Sister Superior there's not that many female evil scientist I can think of in Marvel.

There's Monica Rappaccini and June Covington, for starters.

I didn't count Monica since she turned over a new leaf as for June from Dark Avengers I remember her now.

Which issue was was that? Last appearances i saw her in was Incredible Hulk.

[personal profile] thehood 2017-04-21 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
The first issue of the current Wasp book. She was terrorizing the city inside of a giant robot...for some reason that was never explained.

Before that, her last appearance was in Totally Awesome Hulk, where she was described as an ex villain like you said and she was trying to help Bruce Banner.

Nightshade too, but she's also reformed.

Monica is a great choice, especially since she's back as a villain.

Then there's Zero/One whom we haven't seen in awhile.

In terms of long standing characters Ruby Thursday of the Headmen, Superia and Doctor Nightshade would all be relevant.

I miss her, she'd be perfect.

There's also that evil Kree scientist that had been showing up in Captain Marvel.

And Coriander, who's a newer character.

Oh yeah Doctor Minerva, I always consider her part of a The Kree army.

Are kaiju really cryptozoological when they definitively exist?

[personal profile] long_silence 2017-04-20 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
A lot of cool continuity use in this issue. Damage Control, Animax, Mole Man, HERBIE, and the new Intelligencia (including Gillen's Victorian Sinister who is way cooler than the classic version)

Go back to being a punching bag for the X-men Sinister. Demonicus is a far better member for The Intellegencia.

Or better yet go back to waxing Apocalypse armor, that's all your good for really.

It took a while, but we learned Mr. Sinister's motivation was "create a mutant powerful enough to stop Apocalypse." What does he want to do now?

He's a kid, he draws kaiju.... I've seen a LOT worse names bandied about the superhero set.

Dr. Demonicus and Red Ronin both need to show up at some point. Maybe even the Shofun Warrior pilots.

Assuming this makes it past, say, 7 issues. I mean, I enjoyed the event itself and this tremendously, but I know how the industry works with niche books like this.

Also, really loving Skraag.

MODOK and Mole Man are creepier looking than any of the monsters.
