Now, see, this I like; every incarnation is represented:

Satellite League: Red Tornado
Classic: Firestorm
Morrison: Plas
Giffen: Light
Detroit: Vixen

I think this is right, was Firestorm in the classic league.

I don't think he'd count, he was introduced in the late 70's, iirc.

Okay, then all they need is someone from the classic League, and they'll have the full set.

Hm, whose available? J'onn and Aquaman are dead, Bruce too, Supes? Nah, too obvious.

Hows about Flash?

Currently the living embodiment of speedster death...or something. Hal seems to be the most obvious choice, though I'd prefer they hurry up and dezombiefy J'onn.

Yeah, but Hal's off planet right now, dealing with the blackest night or the lantern wars or some such rot.

Only other guy I can think of is Green Arrows, and from what I've heard of his recent comics....no, just no.

Its pretty sad when the only reason they can't round out the JLA with a classic era member is because all the original members are either dead from bad crossovers, wrapped up in bad crossover, or in the hands of incompetent writers.

...And Wonder Woman, I guess we could use her. But I think there's some unwritten rule that male characters have to outnumber female characters 3 to 2 on a hero team. (Unless its the Runaways, who are awesome).

Well, technically Green Arrow wasn't a founder either, but you could argue he's 'classic.' He might actually be a decent fit, he's a compelling character in the hands of writers who actually give a crap.

Though Wonder Woman wouldn't be a bad choice (I do prefer the idea of the nu-Trinity though, with Donna, Dick and Mon-El).

Firestorm's strictly Satellite era. Reddy's about as "classic" as these folks get so far.

And Light was indeed in the Giffen era, but if you blinked you would have missed her.
