I liked Prometheus but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the days when the Space Jockey was representative of how unfathomable space was as opposed to being bald white guys who engineered the human race with black goo.

Followed by the Xenomorphs being created by an Android who was created by Humans. All this stuff kind of takes the 'alien' out of the ALIEN Franchise, doesn't it?

I'm kinda fuzzy on the timeline, but wasn't the Jockey ship on the original "Alien" planet considerably older than the events in "Prometheus"?

NOT ANYMORE! Since the Space Jockey seen in the film is now officially a suit and not a fossilized skeleton, that ship could have crashed on LV-426 a whole week before they picked up it's signal.

So much agreed on the Space Jockey!

As for "Prometheus" it just got worse and worse the more I thought about it.
