Would've been nice if the cover hadn't spoiled the big twist.

Eh, at least it can't be worse than Wacky Raceland... or can it?

Wacky Raceland at least took it's concept and ran with it full tilt into the outer hinterlands of weird, and did so proudly from the word go.

I don't even know what this is aiming for.

Ehhhh, welll...

I give Warner Bros/DC kudos for trying to bring back certain Hannah-Barbera characters to modern animation and comic fans, but Muttley as a half dog-man thing kinda kills it.

So far the only unassailable success IMHO is Future Quest. In personally not a fan of the Flintstones comic but I get why others are. The others are varying levels of "why does this exist".

What did you think of the Scooby Doo comic? From what I've seen it seemed a fun run at the concept, if a bit 'let's be different just to be different' route.

I have a strong anti-post-apocalypse-story bias so I don't feel qualified to judge it on any level above the premise sounding silly.

Scooby Doo seems to work as a modern day comic reboot. I'll even vouch for Johnny Quest.

What would've been wrong with a bio-engineered sapient dog, a la Rocket Raccoon?

(And is Ennis attempting a shout-out to Porco Rosso, I wonder?)

That would've been a more creative option, tbh

and Ennis is writing this...? Christ, this should be interesting.

Stopping that pigeon should be even easier in a jet.

Are you kidding? Do you know what the turning circle for an F-15 is? It's be much easier to MISS the pigeon in one of those things.

More like the pigeon could stop the jet.

I see DC is continuing its "Because no one demanded it, and if you knew what we were doing, you would demand we didn't!" approach to the Hanna-Barbera characters.
