OK, I got my copy today and I can't stand it anymore - if nobody else's gonna post some pages for this ish, then I will. Two pages, my own crapola scans (for a total of three from a new issue when taken with this post).

When last we left our heroes, they had located the last of the Infinity Gems on Bo Obama's collar, just in time for a showdown with Thanos.



How's that for a HELL YEAH moment?

The Pet Avengers hatch a plan, and suffice to say Thanos is defeated by the Power of their Combined Awesome. Then...



Lockjaw teleports back to Attilan to deliver the gems into the safekeeping of Black Bolt and Reed Richards, who concludes with the line in my cut-tag. Which makes me want to kick his stretchy, unstable molecule-clad buttocks. :P~~~~

And hey, it also counts for Positive Comics week! Right?

I doubt an in-house ad would really mark against the page count, since it's not really part of the story.
And your scans aren't so crapola, they look a lot better than mine!

The first scan's not bad, I nailed that one on the first try, but it took me six tries and having to scan it 'upside down' before I got anything even this decent for the second. Couldn't get it placed right for love nor money.

There's some darling Hairball/Ms. Lion bits in this ish, but even with an extra page to play with I don't think I can squish them in to the posting limit (danged two-page splash spreads!). So I'll leave the other two page postings to somebody else's judgment.

Well, really it's just a four-per-poster limit on top of the regular 1/3 of the story for recent comics. Because of my scanner's low quality, I usually use .cbrs for my posts (i could count the posts i've made with my own scans on one hand), but it doesn't look like there is one of this guy yet.

Me too, even when I've got a hard copy already, because of scanning issues. The equipment's a decent all-in-one, but it's on a shelf under my keyboard and it's hard to lift the hood, get the thing lined up, and work the controls at that angle.

And no, there isn't a .cbr yet, I've been watching. Every freaking thing else scanned like three times over, and no Pet Avengers. What is wrong with the world, I ask you?

Oh yeah, I own most of the stuff I post, whether I scanned it or not. The few exceptions (which, off the top of my head, are the pre-Denny Question posts, Batman Chronicles #15 and a couple Babs/Dinah scans) are things I'm either actively seeking or saving money to buy. About the only thing I scan consistently is the Super Dictionary, because there's isn't really any alternative.

And I would be tempted to contribute to DCP and frankenstein Wednesday Comics together every week if my scanner wasn't such low quality. It's an HP all-in-one from about three years ago, prolly the cheapest one they had at the time. Before I joined up here, I mostly used it for drawings, and the quality never really shows so much on my rough pencils until I'm trying to trace them in openCanvas at 8x zoom.
