Since this came up:

Cable & Deadpool #31, aka the one where Deadpool shows his... admiration for other superheroes. And Tobey Maguire.

Deadpool is on the pro-registration side of Civil War, and Herc and Cable aren't. So this happened.

For the trifecta, Deadpool gets knocked out and bound up with duct tape while the anti-registration heroes go off on a mission somewhere. When Cable comes back to free him, he mentions one of the anti-reg side was just killed by Thor:
