I only use hand models when I don't want to draw things that look like garbage. ^_^

What do you think of the Spidey-Hand closeup on http://unnecessaryg.com/lj/spec141-03.jpg ? I'm having a difficult time thinking when I might have seen that particular (classic, well-rendered) shot on Spidey.

If there's one thing I hate about the 90s it's how the "new dynamism" of Jones and McFarlane et al. made work like this (calm, mannered, clear) commercially unviable.

If there's two things I hate it's that and the collectors market causing the Summer of Blood.

If there's three things I hate it's those two and early computer coloring (especially gradients and lens flares)...
