Every other artist draws him different. Sometimes he just looks like a bald guy with a rash, other times he looks like Jason from the more recent Friday the 13th movies. I'm guessing when he regenerates, he probably looks a little different everytime.

when I first started reading the production info on the Wolverine movie, there was talk of Deadpool featuring a lot of computer effects. I had an image of his skin kinda bubbling all the time, shifting and really looking nauseating. even though that obviously didn't happen, I still like that image and think it works well for art discrepancies like this.

Once again, somebody needs to tell Way that he's nowhere near as funny as he thinks he is.

His entire tenure on Deadpool has been an exercise in TRYING TOO HARD with material that doesn't really live up to his attempts to sell it, to the point that it feels like the comic book equivalent of sitting through a Dane Cook stand-up routine ("If I SHOUT THE WORDS, they'll suddenly SOUND FUNNIER!!!").

The fact that he's conversing with BOTH sets of narration boxes now is even WORSE than it was before, and the dialogue in general had enough of a tin ear to equal the Fail of Bob Gale and Marc Guggenheim, so much so that it took what actually should have been a very funny premise and pretty much killed it stone dead. These pages would be immeasurably improved by being stripped of all their words, since the visuals are pretty damn funny on their own.

Maybe it's because I haven't read this issue but Wade being clueless at the fact that his outfit just screams gay seems wrong to me. Not that he wouldn't put that outfit on, I mean he would put it on but e would be fully aware that people would react to it that way and he wouldn't give a shit. Which brings me to him wanting to kill the kids, the Wade I know would have made a snappy come-back, make them uncomfortable or just given them a wedgie.

Also I will never get use to Daniel Way's Deadpool and him talking to those boxes.

I still don't like Way on this title, but Deadpool-goes-to-San-Francisco sounds neat.

He comes up with all these neat plots (Pirates! San Francisco!) but the execution is always disappointing.

The purple is just bad. Wade's outfit should've been black and red, or atleast had the Deadpool logo on it.

Some parts are funny, but the schizophrenia thing with the textboxes still doesn't work for me :/ Deadpool's always had a cool supporting cast and the comic was great when someone a bit more rational was working as Wade's straight-man. With Weasel, Blind Al or Cable bringing balance to DP's craziness, it just worked like charm. I particularly liked the twisted relationship Wade had with Al and Bob. And I liked how Cable was a polar opposite of DP yet they still were a good team-up. And the rivalry with Agent X.
But this thing with Deadpool arguing to himself... it just looks like it's trying too hard, and I'd rather want DP to have a supporting cast to interact with.

Mainly my problem was with Bob acting OOC and un-Boblike (for example, he's got a weird fangirly moment when he meets DP). He kind of sort of seemed to betray Deadpool, and DP shot him through the hand as punishment (D:). Then there was some kind of cliffhanger with Deadpool writing a letter that said "PS. I killed Bob".

From what I've read, DP was lying and trying to bluff the guy who sent Bob; Bob's not dead and he reappeared later, and continued being a comical sidekick/pet thing. Or so I heard.

But the damage was done, I didn't wanna see stuff like Bob shot through hand :( He's a lot of fun and he was actually the reason why I really fell in love with DP. So I haven't read the current DP after that, and dunno how's Bob doing now.
