Point. Biiiig point.

Sometime I am going to make a huge post of all the in-canon references and homages to TKJ there are. Because the interesting thing about it is that for all its hype about it supposedly being a great Batman and Joker story, and it being a classic case of fridging, every single time its referenced, it's always referencing Babs getting shot.

In a way it's almost a refutation of Babs being so secondary to the story, because the only outcome of the book that mattered is what happened to Babs in it and afterwards. But on the other hand, re-living those same few panels over and over and over again, it's like she gets shot again every single time to the point where it's not only annoying, it's boring because there are so many more stories to tell about her than about the day she got shot and how much that sucked.
