There's something wonderful about Tim just sitting there thumbing through a real-estate magazine after having casually dispatched Fine's bodyguard.

Heh. I like this guy (even if he's similar in concept to the Crime Tailor) and hopes he sticks around.

Oh Damian, just as violent as ever. I like his boots. :D

I also love it that out of Dick's list of Two-Face, Killer Croc, and Zsasz being on the loose, my reaction was just, "Oh man, Zsasz is loose again?" Zsasz has always been one of the villians that creeps me out the most. While everyone else is dressed in costumes and doing elaborate schemes, he just goes out and kills lots of people. And he thinks that he's HELPING them by killing them. *shudders*

Mr. Fine apparently shares my feelings since Zsasz is the one he bothers to think about how horrible he is.

Yeah, I'm not sure what makes Two-Face a real monster and not Hatter or Black Mask.

You'd have thought that a certain smiley gentleman would be included there, or does Dick think that Damian killed him back in RIP when he rammed him off a bridge without looking?

Yeah, I agree. He'd be more likely to just turn up his nose at the size of the tiny place (only 3 bedrooms?) than consider 3 million too much.

Oh, and who is the person who is in disguise keeping an eye on Hush in the first page? I'd guess Plastic Man from the, "Sniff. Beautiful." line and the close-up of the silvery glasses.

So am I the only one going "WTF, Dini?!" when I see Dick beating up a man he could've just restrained while he went through his files?

Although that version of Damian is pretty tolerable and funny.

re-read the narration. he had to. this guy's a fixer for the Gotham freaks. if batman comes to his office, and a few days later he'shitting the freaks in their cozy new lairs, the rest are going to know the realtor's playing both sides. and gotham ain't kind to rats

but because bats "beat the info out of him" (note the damage looks nasty but is superficial enough that he can have a drink), they'll shrug, since that's the price of business as usual for white-collar guys like penguin, making the realtor "on the level".

its also why Riddler hasn't been really targetted since going straight. the feaks know that while h's 'legit', he's scamming the rich and thumbing his nose at batman. plus, a probable "arkham's agreement" to not take cases that lead o his old buddies

In all fairness though, no one's gonna believe that the guy didn't help Batman, if he shows up later without a single scratch on him. So getting beat up he can at least say that he refused the Bat, when he didn't.

The ending really confused me. So the thing the guy tossed at Batman... short circuited? And Batman roughs him up hard off panel, but somehow the bottle and glass are intact when even the picture frames are broken.

He didn't beat him up to go through the files. He can be seen giving the files out. He got beat up to maintain appearance, like how undercover police in our real world get arrested with the people they are infiltrating.

It's weird how Dini is making me love Damian and dislike Dick. Though I think the main reason I dislike Dick here is that he's so out of character. Batover-compensation, perhaps?

I love the art, and I especially love that the green is back in the Robin costume. Seriously, it makes me happy everytime I see that it's not just red and black with yellow anymore.

Also, DC is continuing with this disturbing trend of making me like Damian. Stop it, DC! I don't want to like the little bugger!

This is reading a lot more like Bruce!Bats to me than Dick!Bats here. Anyone else get that vibe?
