Aww. This reminds me of that one scene from the anime Simoun where our two ladies are separated and they do the same thing against the wall. Of course, they kiss the wall instead of tapping it, but I won't look too far into Nat and Maria. It's still cute. :D

Did she remember to have the virus broadcast all Osborn's secrets to the entire Internet, thereby accomplishing what Reed Richards failed to do last month?

'Cause that would be cool.

How did Norman keep Reed out? Freakin' magic?

Over in Dark Wolverine, Reed tried to surreptitiously download Osborn's files to a handheld, but got interrupted.

Seriously, I don't know why he couldn't engineer something like Tony Stark's device to view past events, or Donald Blake's old invention to view things from miles away using x-rays or some shenanigans, and just record video evidence of Osborn's misdeeds from the Baxter Building and beam it direct Obama's Blackberry.

Because for Dark Reign to work, everyone has to be an idiot. Even Reed Richards, apparently.

Isn't there actually a big section reserved at TVTropes for the fact that Reed Richards has been a idiot for a long time?

That was with regards to him being useless, in his inability to cure cancer, world hunger, etc.

This is different. All heroes during Dark Reign seem unable to remember the existance of tape recorders, unable to recognize Norman's hairtrigger temper as something they can use to discredit him or remember that they've been heroes for much longer than Norman and thus, en mass, would have far greater credability.

New Avengers, IMO, is the worst offender of contrived stupidity. They know who every last member of Norman's Avengers is, yet never considering releasing that information to the media. Clint goes off half cocked against Norman when he hears about what happened to the X-Men, swallowing Norman's account without even trying to reach Wolverine, his own freakin' teammate!

Get Greg Land to "draw" it and you'll have a Wizard front cover plus fold-out right there.

hahahahahahahahah

Brilliant.

For the entire Ultimate power bit I went, "Are you kidding me!" re: the art.

Porn? One of the many appealing things about this is that it's not particularly sexualized. Female heroes just being heroes -- there's never enough of that.

...okay, I hate this whole arc, and the art, and the stupid stupidness, but if this ends with Iron Potts and Maria and Natasha all teaming up for great awesome, hijacking the comic and flying it to somewhere with decent art, I will totally read it.

ALSO I thought I was joking about the scalping but she is wearing her faaaace eww what the Hell? Hardcore, Potts. Hardcore. Wouldn't it smell a bit by now?

But where did she get a Masque wig from? I mean, we saw Pepper wearing the mask and hair in front of the burning building in the middle of nowhere that they fought in. There wasn't a wig shop there. I did actually wonder if Pepper was impersonating her, in her mask, but figured she couldn't be because of the hair.

Maybe they'll explain it later. I will wait.

Okay, I just have to say it.

Pepper Potts is the lamest name in the history of ever. I hope she divorced her parents.

Also, how many times has Natasha been kidnapped by Osborn in the last YEAR?
