Thing is, I KNEW this. But I thought "Oh it's just going to be Ares I know barely anything about him ho hum" so I was thinking about not getting it. This page changed my mind because I love the psychopaths far more then I should.

Dark Reign in general has been pretty cool too. It's the sort of passive major story arc that is a really big event, but also isn't a compact big battle scene that smooshes everyone into one arena.

But yeah, Dark Avengers rules hard.

I haven't read as many of the Dark reign tie ins as I should but my growing love of Daken, Bullseye, and Venom is slowly but surely getting me to pick up everything. Icon is totally relevant to this statement

DA, Secret Warriors and Thunderbolts are the main stuff, everything else is just gravy I think.

Yeah, it's a lot like DA but with more action. You probably won't know any of the characters but don't worry since you really don't need to know much about them at all.

Yeah, I like stories where the villains becomes the protagonists of the story and ones where it's just villains going after each others throats with a 2 or 3 good guys around.
