Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #2

Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #2 was more or less setting up the new status quo. The bulk of the issue is about Spider-Man fighting a mother/daughter supervillain team called "The Bombshells" (and I don't know if its' the art, but the daughter looks like she's Molly Hayes' age and she's wearing a pretty skimpy outfit, and it's a little off-putting IMO). The scene I'm posting takes place earlier in the issue.

When I saw that first panel, I went "Who is that? It can't be Kong?" Then I saw the next, and I literally went WTF. I don't know if I like this new look. It's just...not Kong. So that was by far the biggest moment of the issue for me, seeing Kong's new look.

So far I have to say I'm liking the title and the new direction that it's going in. Except, that is, for Kingpin's 'death' in the last issue. But I don't want to get into that now...

Aw, poor MJ! :(

She meant well, but she should really abide by Kitty's request in the matter, given the hostility it could stir up.

Kitty seemed to be doing pretty well stirring up hostility on her lonesome. What with the crack about MJ and Peter splitting up.

Only after MJ refused, more than once, a perfectly reasonable request to NOT feature Kitty on the website.

Hm, thought you needed permission from people to post them on a news website. At least that's what USAToday needed when they came to the ER a few weeks back.
