I can't help but think Lois is overreacting a little, since this scenerio happens about every seven months, but yay for her calling bullshit on the anti-Superman type talk.

Also, yay potentially gray character again, Cat. Apparently, they're not going to write her as evil, which is very nice.

So I guess Cat Grant's history with Morgan Edge (in which she pretended to be his girlfriend to help Clark send Edge to jail) is ret-conned, huh? Because the old Cat Grant would never be in the same room with Morgan Edge after all that went down, let alone smiling at him and going on his show. What is the point of building up a Superman supporting cast (Sam Lane, Lucy Lane, Cat Grant) over the last few post-Crisis decades only to have all of them act OCC? Robinson's been out of comics for awhile so maybe he wasn't reading in the late 90s/early 00s but Rucka's been an on/off part of the Super-crew for awhile. WTF?

Lois complaining about a reporters integrity? That's just hypocritical considering who she married.

And what exactly is Cat doing wrong here? Everything she said is true, Supergirl has acted out-of-control and as a menace. She attacked Air Force One, has attacked other heroes, tried to kill Superman, has stopped cop-killers from being brought to justice and generally been a screw up. Plus her current actions are incredibly hypocritical.

In Morrison and Quitely's Earth-2, antimatter-universe Cat Grant was depicted as this tragic plastic surgery victim with enormous fake boobs. Someone in DC Editorial seems to have been quite taken with that portrayal.
