the last issue ended with JJJ getting incriminating pictures of Gargan. he meets up with Norman about this. Norman goes on about how they're obviously fakes and JJJ storms off. meanwhile, Norman tells Daken and Bullseye to get into their old costumes and orders them to take Gargan down.






yes, Bullseye just shot Venom in the eye with a poodle. there was nothing in this issue I did not find hilarious.

I never, EVER would have thought that I would like this series since I don't really like Gargan as Venom, but I picked it up after seeing some scans here and the whole thing has been freaking hilarious.

Does the Marvel Universe public realize that Sinister Spider-Man is a different person than Amazing Spider-Man?

Either way, is any reason given why they love Sinister Spider-Man so much, when his appearance is basically identical to that of known supervillain Venom?

I just don't know how this is meant to be reconciled with the rest of Marvel continuity.

I think it's because he's sponsored by Osborn and anyone backed by Osborn is aces as far as the public is concerned.

Yeah, I kind of figured that the public loving Venom!Spider-Man as a result of his ties to Osborn was simply yet another sign of the Marvel Universe public being pure evil, but ... if they don't think that black-suited Spider-Man is a different guy from regular-suited Spider-Man, then this status quo doesn't even make sense ON ITS OWN TERMS.

Don't forget Peter went back to the Black Suit recently for a short while, and as far as the people of the MU are concerned, even with the black suit he's still likely another person entirely from Venom - Who rampantly wanted to eat brains.

To be fair, it makes as much sense as handing Norman the keys to the kingdom for sniping the Skrull Queen, for the New Avengers knowing exactly who reach Dark Avenger really is but not telling the media and for the public to trust Norman over Clint.

really it makes no sense more in the way of they should be able to tell the difference in how this guy's much more muscular and i think taller than spider-man usually is....like enough muscle it should be noticeable (and effect his speed; and gives him a different frame)
