Daredevil: End of Days
Aug. 15th, 2012 05:08 pm Wow, it must have been years since this was first announced. Now we're finally getting it starting in October. I'm very excited.
It's basically the "final" Daredevil story with Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack writing and Bill Sienkiewicz and Klaus Janson on art. More info can be found here.

One Perfect Moment: Ultimate Spider-Man
Aug. 6th, 2012 07:44 pmAs much as I'm liking Miles Morales, I really miss (Ultimate) Peter Parker. He was probably one of Bendis' best characters.
There's so many great moments with him but one of my favorites is this hilarious scene in Ultimate Spider-Man #12.
Basically Peter has gone after the Kingpin after finding out that his uncle's murderer was once employed by him. The Kingpin finally confronts him at the conclusion of the story and we get the following exchange...

Ultimate X-Men #41
Aug. 1st, 2012 07:32 pm
Bendis had a fairly short run on Ultimate X-Men. All things considered, it wasn't his best work for reasons I won't get into. That being said there was one stand-alone issue -- #41 -- that I thought was pretty effective.

'Takio' was an all-ages graphic novel that Brian Michael Bendis wrote in 2011. It's about two sisters in an adoptive family that become superheroes. With a new ongoing series based on it that just started, I figured I'd post the beginning of the original as opposed to picking and choosing throughout the entire story. So hopefully if you like it you'll check out the full thing.

Vision vs Magneto
May. 3rd, 2012 09:42 pmSo apparently I missed this, which I've hastened to rectify because I shall not miss out of anything of the great Magnus family EPIC TRAGEDY.
Context: Ironman has just rebuilt/awakened Vision and brings him up to date with what happened in Disassembled, and him and She-Hulk make sure to namedrop Magneto in a blaming way because Bendis doesn't write in a contrived way at all and apparently nobody believes Doom.
So Vision decides to pay his former father-in-law a visit.

New Avengers #26 wordless preview
Apr. 13th, 2012 03:25 pmComicBookResources.com has the preview of #26, as revelations reveal how long ago the seeds of precaution have been prepared for the coming of the Phoenix as AvX continues.
I've been trying to find a decent "cut tag" phrase to get you to click and look on.
"They've been waiting."
"They have a plan."
But they sound too cheesy. Keep it simple
( The Shield and the Spear. )
