Four pages from DAREDEVIL 15. Last issue, Daredevil was abducted to Latveria, where the Minister of Finance removed all his senses (including "radar") as punishment for fiscal terrorism against the state...

INSUFFERABLE is a webcomic by Mark Waid and Peter Krause, the first title to come out from Thrillbent, the line of webcomics that Waid and John Rogers recently started up (and which Waid sold his entire comic book collection to help fund).

It asks the question: What happens when you’re a crimefighter and your sidekick grows up to be an arrogant, ungrateful douchebag? What on Earth could draw the two of you back together again?

Here are a selection of scenes from the first six "issues." The full run of the series is available for free at http://www.thrillbent.com.

Previously in DAREDEVIL, Matt Murdock ruined the mega-crime organizations' (AIM, HYDRA, the Secret Empire, etc.) deal to filter their money through Latveria's banks. (It's analogous to how modern merchant ships will fly flags of convenience.) Someone is not happy about that...

According to Newsarama Marvel repeats the earlier experiment this summer after "life-changing events", i.e. apparently the "No more Avengers" utterance.

(I'm betting it's Hope that says it, not Wanda.  That would make more sense.)Because no clunky experiment goes unrepeated.... )

At least it doesn't look like another chase, but there's not enough to really tell.

For this who missed it, the two are starting up a digital comics website together in May. Waid's so serious about it, he's even selling his entire comic book collection to help finance it.

Anyway, a short story's been released, "Luther," that gives a preview of what kind of stuff's in store once the site launches. You can find it here.

Been a while since we had a good "can't believe that one slipped by the editors" like this.
Thank goodness Daredevil reminds us why we indulge our naughty sides on this board. My thanks to BleedingCool.com for pointing it out.

Matt is being "Matt" again. Context is for the weak.

Insert joke here. )

Mark Waid's amazing comics about a villian-turned-good and a superhero-going-psycho are ending. Newsarama has the article.

I thought there would be much more story to tell, but I guess going out on a good note is the smart choice.

ComicBookResources has the preview of issue #33, where we get any idea of how Qubit was able to escape the super prison in deep space.

On my own..... )
