Catwoman: Crooked Little Town - Part 1
Jan. 12th, 2013 12:10 pmStarted watching the Wire lately, and it's put me in the mood for some of Ed Brubaker's Catwoman run, which I'm going to share as it's a far better series than most things published now or since.

Gotham City Sirens 7 - 'absent friends'
Dec. 28th, 2009 06:55 pmI have a question about this image from Gotham City Sirens #7, and it's probably due to my inability to keep continuity straight in my head amongst the umpty-gazillion Batbooks going on right now. Help me out gang?
( should auld acquaintance be forgot )
One panel from Gotham City Sirens #7 under the cut, not my scan, we've had 3.5 pages so far which brings us to just over 4 pages don't make me add fractions!.
Tag suggestions: char: alfred pennyworth, char: batman/bruce wayne, char: batman/dick grayson, char: catwoman/holly robinson, char: catwoman/selina kyle, char: harley quinn/harleen quinzel, char: poison ivy/pamela isley, char: robin/red robin/tim drake, creator: david lopez, creator: paul dini, publisher: dc comics, title: gotham city sirens (whew!)

ETA: I just realized part of this has already been posted.
You can read it here, where people already answered many questions that came up. I didn't think there was a chance someone had posted it already...that'll teach me to assume.
So I was reading some posts about Batman and Catwoman here, which reminded me how much I like Selina. Then I found
espanolbot 's posts on Ed Brubaker's Catwoman, which reminded me how awesome they were. Anyway, I don't have more Catwoman, but I do have this short bit from The Comics Journal #263 that I think everyone will appreciate.
( Holly in the bath and Selina changing outfits! )

Catwoman Abridged: Wild Ride (Part 1 of 4)
May. 6th, 2009 05:28 pmAbridged as in Short, not me re-editting it in order to pinch some of Little Kuriboh's fanbase.

Catwoman's Origin: Also Multiple Choice (but some choices are better than others)
May. 1st, 2009 11:35 amRecently, the issue of Catwoman's origin came up. Specifically, the post-Crisis Y1 retcon that she was a prostitute, inspired by "real man" Batman to dress up like a loony and follow in his footsteps, or something; the subsequent Zero Hour retcon to something much better; and the innumerable other retcons that ignored the Zero Hour retcon in favor of Miller's take, only more XTREEM, adding rape, underaged victimization, etc etc.
And since everything is more clear with scans, I thought I'd post those two different takes, so everybody can see the contrast for themselves.

You want Bat/Cat cuteness?
Apr. 20th, 2009 10:27 pmI'll GIVE you Bat/Cat cuteness. Well, mostly, sorta. Well, I'll give you the annotated history of Helena Kyle. Who is she, some may ask. Well Helena was an attempt by DC to screw with shippers like me, um, shake up Catwoman a bit. Yeah...
