"Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment today announced that executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are teaming up for the all-new live-action drama series Titans, which will debut in 2018. Additionally, Warner Bros. Animation’s Young Justice: Outsiders the highly anticipated third season of the popular Young Justice series, is also ramping up for its first mission next year."

Young Justice: Outsiders
"In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy."

It will be paired with the new live-action Titans series!

"Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Titans will be written by Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery, Underground), Geoff Johns (President & Chief Creative Officer, DC Entertainment; The Flash, Arrow) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl). Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl) are executive producers of the series from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Well, as I noted before, today is Valentines Day, that day when we celebrate the commercial exploitation of relatio.... I mean, the joys of love and partnership.

Whilst I might better known for my... more unusual tastes, I do have the soul of romantic.. a jaded, cynical, bitter, British single romantic, but a romantic nonetheless. ;)

So, in the spirit of the day I commissioned old favourite, The Black Cat to celebrate the past loves of a certain favourite character of mine...

I can do 'wholesome', honest!! )

As recently discussed on Mr. Enter's review of 'The Return of Slade', Teen Titans Go! can be rather polarising. For all the toilet humour and wackiness packed into each episode, I find the best gags usually come from the sights in the background, or at least they go by rather quickly that they warrant a pause.

In the episode 'Sidekick', Jason Todd's ashes could be seen next to Mr Freeze's head on a shelf in the Batcave. There's usually a small Darkseod plush next to the Titans' couch. Probably what I found especially entertaining, however, were these quotes from Raven and Starfire's yearbooks in "Yearbook Madness". Then again, I am too easily entertained, but still.

I've been wanting to do this for some time now, but didn't know where to post them. )

"There’s an eight-page lead-in in one of the Convergence books that leads right into the first issue. It’s going to be Starfire, in a way, wanting to get to know not superheroes, not supervillains but the people living on the planet. A lot of the series is going to be about her trying to just blend in, which is kind of the fun of the book. She’s not going to do that very well." - Jimmy Palmiotti

So Robin is 75 years old this year, having debuted in Detective Comics #38, dated April 1940

That means it would have been on the shelves in Feb/March. According to current continuity, Dick's birthday is "the first day of Spring", which would be 20th March, but he's had a few other dates cited as his DOB over the years, so this seems close enough... ish.

So let's celebrate!

And how better than with a costume party?! )
