Rejoice! On this day I bring to you several pages of a manga series that is, in my opinion, pretty good: Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, written by Eiji Otsuka of MPD Psycho, and drawn by Housui Yamazaki of Mail. In fact, it seems to exist within the same continuity as those manga, because characters from those series show up in Kurosagi.

I would recommend checking out this series! Unless perhaps you're rather squeamish; then don't. As the title would imply, there are corpses--and while it doesn't deliver grossness or gore for its own sake, it doesn't shy away from showing the various things that can happen to a body. There's not much of that in the scans below, but I'm gonna put not safe for work tags on here anyway.

But what is a corpse delivery service, you ask, impatient rhetorical voice that only I can hear? Also, I should burn things, you say? Well, first things first.

Joe Casey and Mike Huddleston's series is a send up of tough-guy, macho superheroes, full of sex, violence and profanity, and it's a gloriously twisted and hilarious read. It's a staple of superhero comics. Clark Kent is sweet on Lois Lane, but Lois only has eyes for Superman. Hal Jordan digs on Carol Ferris, but Carol'd rather get with Green Lantern. The Argentine comic Cybersix...does it slightly differently. (Note, no official English translation of Cybersix exists - this is a scanlation from a French edition by a fellow named PharmaDan, so there are a few translation and editing glitches.)

The following pages are NSFW, due to nudity and sexual situations. Quite a bit of the former, in fact.

A while back, some of you may remember this post (Oh what was I thinking with the Plath comment...)

Well, that being said, that post was about the character of Naoko Akagi, mother to scientist Ritsuko Akagi, one of the (sorta) main characters on Evangelion. Ritsuko's case is an interesting one, she's sort of a main character, and she sort of isn't. Obviously the five main characters would be Shinji, Asuka, Rei, Misato, and Kaworu, and then we have Ritsuko and Gendo. (and now meganeko Mari in the Rebuild franchise)
In 1996, after Evangelion ended, Hideaki Anno started to receive death threats from fans due to the unexpected finale that was episode 25/26. Anno was only able to complete it using the budget they had, and it wasn't helped that a few GAINAX employees were found to be embezzling money...still, Anno created the full length feature film End of Evangelion in 1997. While the final two episodes reflected what went on in the characters subconscious, EoE reflected what went on in the physical world. The film was a success, although shocked many, and the manga version of it I'm afraid, isn't much of a happy stroll through merry land either. This post will focus on Ritsuko Akagi, and her downfall and eventual (you guessed it) death.

Hey Guys...sooo talking to aeka yesterday and I kinda outed myself when i said my comedy drawing is crap, that I do draw from time to time(god i wish i had more time...)I also write, (And not just humorous little scenes for Robin Inc or "What Happens to Batman whenever some one mentions his Dead Parents" :) I've been working on a story for a while. SO as most of you know i am taking a Graphic Novel Literature class, our previous assignment was a comic book adaptation. We could adapt a scene from a book, a short story, poem, song ect... into an at minimum 8 page "comic". Then Write a pitch for it and a "reaction" to it.

I decided to adapt this story I have been working on (i'm about six chapters in)since really a part of me has always wanted to do this. this is my first attempt at drawing sequential art though. (i mostly do poses and moments) sooo okay yeah no more putting it off.

So i have decided to post the comic i worked on here. (i will also probably post it on my Tumblr http://fanboywatchtower.tumblr.com/ and on my http://shadowpsykie.deviantart.com/ as well. )

As everyone here knows, DC has gotten a shit tonne of criticism for their portrayal of sex in their New 52 line. Not without reason of course since the sex that has been portrayed so far has been nothing short of fanservice.

Last night, I did a Power Girl megapost. It was largely rated U for Universal. Even though there's been no enthusiasm for it, I figure that since I had all of the pictures uploaded already, I'd post the suggested PG (parental guidance) version.
