Last year I posted some images from Jeffrey Brown's instant classic Darth Vader and Son

Though it was enjoyed, there was some comment that what it needed was some acknowledgement of Lei as his daughter...

Well, those fine folks over at Newsarama have an interview with the author as his latest work comes out

Now you know that I have my little... quirks, but I do like me some cute of a weekend, and this hits the spot...

I found a copy of this new book in my local comic shop, HAD to buy it (despite the fact it was the only one that they had in and I think the owner wanted to read it himself, and I wanted to share it because it is AWESOME!

It's called

(If you thought "Batman and Sons" was the a humorous take on the most stressed father/son dynamic out there, think again...)

Thirty years ago today, the much-anticipated sequel to one of the most famous space fantasy movies of all time hit theaters. And just over ten years ago, mostly to promote the Special Edition re-release of those movies and the then-upcoming first prequel, Dark Horse Comics and Lucas Books published a set of manga adaptions of the original trilogy.

In 2007, I posted selections from Episode IV, A New Hope, on the original scans_daily. One of these days, maybe soon, I'll go back and try to recreate those lost posts (a Special Edition of my own? :) ... but for now, enjoy these.

( It is a dark time for the Rebellion. )

14 pages + cover from an 80+ page volume; not my scans, although I do own the originals.

Adam Warren drew the covers, but I don't know if that's enough for a tag.
