On its floor, they met the information broker Tori Raven.

She told them that the man they'd come to rescue, the Widow's attorney Isaiah, was on the top floor along with the man who'd kidnapped him. To get him back, they'd have to go through lots of men.

The Widow paid her for the info, then went upstairs with X-23.

They took different routes to get there. )

Issue #10 of the Black Widow series that ended this week opened in a time when Hawkeye was an Avenger and she wasn't.

She was trying to get a man named Rashid out of Islamabad.

Someone followed her, leaping from rooftop to bustop and shooting out the engine block of her car.

She and Rashid escaped into the crowd.

In the now, a man held the Widow's accomplice Isaiah captive.

In the then, she pulled Rashid onto the seat of a motorcycle and drove off.

Behind her, an arrow flew.

It went over her head. )

Not related to Bendis's run but most of Frank Miller's run on Daredevil is available on Comixology right now for 99 cents an issue for one day only here. It includes Miller's run up until #184, as well as 'Born Again' and 'Man Without Fear'. Just a heads up.

AVENGERS #32 in an ORIGINAL SIN tie-in, but doesn't have much to do with ORIGINAL SIN. After that Watcher's eye knowledge bomb, Captain America remembers the Illuminati mind-wiped him. He goes after Tony with some Avengers, then the Time Gem appears and sends the group into the future. This happens twice, each time with some team members getting sent back to the present.

Garden, ship, worlds, etc. )

Hi everyone! So it's International Women's Day, and I think that's as good a reason as any to post media, fanmade or otherwise, showcasing kickass women of comics. I'll kick it off with this combined Marvel/DC sketch:

CAPTAIN AMERICA #401 is a "cool down" issue after Operation: Galactic Storm. Cap is in a sulky mood after half the Avengers executed the Supreme Intelligence for using the Nega-Bomb as a genocide weapon on the Kree.
I've posted pages from this issue before, and these pages reflect the friendship between Steve Rogers and Clint Barton. It is a friendship that (it seems) won't get reflected in the Marvel Cinema Universe and seems to have been largely ignored over the decades.

Wish the Falcon would get back )
