And finally for Dudes in Distress Week... honest! Then I'll be quiet!

As noted earlier, this is a repost of a post originally made in 2009 in our IJ days, but I thought that in honours of Dude in Distress week a fresh posting might be made as an exception.

So what did I pick? Go on... guess!

What else could it be, but New Teen Titans #22 )

Young Justice is coming back to TV screens in less than a month! The airdate for the new episode is March 3, 2012.

The episode title and synopsis have been released by World's Finest Online (at the link above) and that information's reproduced here too ).

For legality here's the cover image and solicit for the cartoon's companion comic, the latest issue of which comes out on Feb. 15 )

Also, it looks like The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is getting a new comic series. Still no word on an airdate for Season Two, although since those comics are set for an April release and the movie comes out in May I'm guessing it'll probably be around then.

Again from World's Finest Online, we have solicits for the series ).

Has it been already a week since last time? Anyway, here's some more Heroes! comic strips for you all!
My very first attempt to Heroes-ify Booster Gold. Yeah, it was that bland...

Today I offer you not two, but three more episodes of Archers! and one Superbuddies! - which features my favorite beloved but sadly underrated couple of the whole DCU. And yes, they're both alive in here :P

Ollie will one day get his revenge, Sparta Meme, Sue's pregnant again and Teen Titans cameo after the jump! )

With the end of the current Titans run, this seems an apt moment to showcase one of my favourite Titans moments in a long time, it's from the JLA/Titans crossover "The Technis Imperative" and I just happened to have obtained the original art for the page in question.

Saying goodbye... Going away.... (Oh great, now I'LL be bawling) )
And after that tear-jerking little moment, an announcement to make UK based fans go SQUEEEE! Though they'll need to squeee patiently

A new convention which sounds like fun )

STOP PRESS - Those missing their Secret Six/Teen Titans art fix, The Cn have exciting news about Nicola Scott's next project, which answers another question about the new DCU

Newsarama has just put up a preview of a few DC Retroactive issues. The Flash one caught my eye since it features a flashback to my favorite Flash villain and story arc.

And so our Bloodlines event comes to its surprising conclusion.

We saw the DC heroes captured by the newly risen Taker, all except Flash and Superman. Now it's time for a new group of heroes to get their butts kicked, I mean save the day.

One (well two sorta) New Bloods powers proved utterly key in this story, can you guess which tough guy saves the day?

18.5 pages from a 56 page story.

The Bloodlines have ended. The heroes of the DCU are now finally able to assemble against the Parasite threat, but will it be enough? Or will it be the fall of Earth?

18 pages of a 56 page story.

I have to also warn you that while the art of the Annuals each had specific teams who were used to the books they were on...  but the artists who worked on Bloodbath varied, and the art seemed very rushed at times. (Including having a page that I won't post with Martian Manhunter on it that hurts my eyes)

And you thought the Parasites were bad? )

Way back in 1980-ish, after the first major story arc of "The New Teen Titans" was over, Wolfman and Perez did something in issue 8 which was more or less unheard of at the time, an issue devoted to the characters in their off duty lives, especially new characters we're not familiar with.

For legality, the cover of that issue.

Episode 8 of Young Justice (which others have noted is more Teen Titans anyway) tries more or less the same thing.

Can Young Justice pull off the same trick? (Also, HEAVY SPOILER within) )

Last issue story we saw Batman and Joe Public drive away one of the Parasites from Gotham.

Now the Blood reaches Keystone as we introduce Argus. One of the better handled New Bloods since the event, still alive and occasionally he's popped up in Flash's series later on.

18 of 54 pages.

Greetings True Believers!

It's time for another delicious Robot Chicken holiday and comic book related skit!

It's jolly good fun when you mix a childish bet, a dash of Silver-Age SuperPsycho, St. Nick and a public race!

Enjoy!
