AVENGERS (vol 3) #12: Vision and Wanda talk some things over before and after the big Thunderbolts team up against a giant alien robot (called Dominex.) Note the pretty Perez artwork.

... Carol Danvers lays the smack down on the Avengers for their handling of the events of Avengers #200, so very recently posted here.

Posting 6 pages of a 38-page annual, not my scans and nothing done to them but resizing, by very popular demand.

Remember, Carol at this point has reconstructed her life history, but it's ghostly to her, no real emotions attached. Can you imagine how this'd've played if she were fully herself?

Gather 'round, chilluns, it's storytime.

I was originally intending to post some Christian-comic cheese, but having the memory of this brought up made me insistent on sharing the pain, especially since the original S_D went bust and took this with it. Thus, I bring you the story of how Carol Danvers gave birth to her own rapist, featuring pages and partial pages from Avengers #197-200*.

*Issue 200: Roughly 10 1/2 of 35 story pages.

Frank Tieri is an underrated writer, and underrated "continuity pornographer." Dan Slott is best known for continuity porn these days, since Keith Busiek's focusing on ASTRO CITY the fast few years. But Tieri can bring the continuity porn as well, as he did in WEAPON X and EXCALIBUR.

Now he brings the continuity for us to slobber over again in LETHAL LEGION #2. A lawyer named Livingston is visiting a group super-villains in the Raft to get the full story on an attempted kidnapping. And the attempted kidnapping victim was Norman Osborn. In this issue, Livingston talks to Wonder Man (!) and the Absorbing Man.

Joaquin Phoenix and Jack Murdock are mentioned. )

From Marvel two-in-one. Frank Miller drew it...

Team books IMO are not so much about grand melee , but the little moments between characters during downtime.

J.M. DeMatteis' new IDW series THE LIFE AND TIMES OF SAVIOR 28 has a superhero that wants to give up a life of violence. And Simon Williams does the same.

Peaceful or appeasing? You make the call! )
