...there's a bit of controversy regarding the direction of the Bat books. Some object to Bruce not being a loner. What's with these groups and others wearing the Bat symbol? What's with people looking to Batman as an inspiration when he's just supposed to scare the crap out of everybody, good and evil aike? Bruce publicly funding superheroes? What's with that candle swearing ceremony thing?
They all date back decades, in some cases almost as long as Batman has existed.

Batgirl #20 - another piece of the puzzle
Apr. 13th, 2011 10:00 pmperletwoOne page from Batgirl #20 here. Much to love about this ish: confident Steph, supportive Babs, Dinah cameo, a look at Firewall's workings, a super sekrit villain stopping plan that works, nice art. But none of that (except the nice art) is what I bring you here.

perletwo2 and 2/3 pages from Batgirl #17, plus small preview image. My love for Steph/Damian team-ups continues to grow with this issue. Batgirl and Robin are investigating a series of kidnappings of upper-middle-class children (as opposed to Damian's 'child of the super-rich' class), and begin by trailing a group of schoolkids on a field trip to the museum. One of them has to go undercover and blend while the other serves as mission runner. Guess who's which, and how well it works out?

The return of WFA

For the record, this is 100% thanks to our beloved mad and the others. 95% thanks to Maddy, 5% the others and then here I am at like, .1 %.
I regret to say I did almost nothing here, the actual posting and setting up the team and all of the linkage and pretty much everything was Maddy. I had no idea how to fix the situation until Maddy went all secret agent. I didn’t even help with the coding that much after finals hit.
Pretty much all I did was nag Maddy over email to get started on this. Yaaaay nagging!
