Ann Nocenti's DAREDEVIL run. It's pretty out there, since that's Nocenti's "thing." But this issue involves a brawl at a peach march and Daredevil doing the whole "Am I doing good as a vigilante" every superhero goes through now and again.

Johnny Storm also shows up for one page.

As per All-Star Batman (not to be confused with All-Star Batman and Robin)...

Heads I win, scratched up heads, I also win )

1 page from issue 3, approximately 2 from issue 4.

It's a terrific quality in a hero.

It's a terrifying one in a villain.

This month's All-Star Batman demonstrates the latter case with someone promised a reward for killing Batman.

They're not one of the ones promised by Two-Face.

They're someone promised by those who wouldn't mind both of them being dead. )

There're some who don't know not to do those.

There's occasions where the latter does the former.

There is one in last month's All-Star Batman.

It's a nicely done one. )

"It was not Doc Doom and other villains at ground zero, just like it was not a young child crying for his fallen father. It was a representation...a symbol...a metaphor for real feelings and thoughts. It was, excuse the sugar-coating, JMS' and my heart and soul on those pages. I didn't ever cringe at the thought of those characters being in that spot. To me, it made sense. This kind of cowardly, unspeakable horror effects all of us...ALL OF US! I don't want to say..."Lighten Up"! I want everyone to concentrate on what happened on 9/11. Don't forget...Don't EVER forget!" -- John Romita Jr.

So far CIVIL WAR II has not gotten to the point of crossovers: Heroes who have fought on the same side for years shouting "I HATE YOU! I'VE ALWAYS HATED YOU!"

"Alan Moore and I once had about a six-hour argument about the Joker, back when he did comic books -- because he believed that the Batman and Joker were almost parallels that were separated at birth. Alan had a much more, a sort of attitude of moral relativism about what was good and what was evil. I took a much more arched view, because I believe that the Joker is not so much insane as satanic. He's evil incarnate, and he's so malicious that it goes beyond anything we could understand. That's what's so terrifying about him, is that he simply wants to do as much harm and damage as he possibly can." - Frank Miller

"Seeing how each writer owned the issue that they wrote. Each worked from a loose outline that was work-shopped by the group, but when they sat down by themselves, that’s where the magic happened." - Axel Alonso

"When we do big events like this, we usually employ one writer and one artist. However, this story is so huge – it cuts across the entire Marvel Universe – we thought it would benefit from additional brainpower. So, we tapped five of our most popular writers (Brian Bendis, Jason Aaron, Matt Fraction, Jonathan Hickman and Ed Brubaker) and three of our most popular artists (John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel and Adam Kubert) to do this story." - Axel Alonso
