Here's another Ray Bradbury story that EC adapted. For those who don't know, the story of their partnership is pretty interesting; it originally started with EC ripping off his stories without Bradbury's permission. Bradbury sent them the following letter.

“Just a note to remind you of an oversight. You have not as yet sent on the check for $50.00 to cover the use of secondary rights on my two stories ‘The Rocket Man’ and ‘Kaleidoscope.’ . . . I feel this was probably overlooked in the general confusion of office work, and look forward to your payment in the near future.”

EC complied and after this Bradbury lent his stories for authorized adaptations of his work.

June is the month that Ray Bradbury passed away (three years tomorrow) so I might post some old comics based on his work. If you have any requests let me know. I posted this one a couple of years ago.

Here's another story from Ray Bradbury to celebrate his life and career. It first appeared in Weird Fantasy #28.

June 5th marks the first anniversary of Ray Bradbury's death so figured I'd post a few of his stories from EC in his memory until then.

First up is 'The Screaming Woman' which was adapted in Crime Suspenstories #15.

In honor of Ray Bradbury, who passed away last night, I decided to post an adaptation of one of his short stories from EC's Vault of Horror.

As some of you may know, and others of you may Not, Ray Bradbury has died. Author of the Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, Something Wicked this Way Comes (my personal favorite) and countless other stories, short stories, plays, and screen plays...

I wanted to do tribute to him on here and low and behold not only did i find something scan worthy and legal, but it was also something from one of my favorite Bradbury stories.

Edit: Thanks for the In Memoriam tag who ever put it up, didn't even know we had one :D
